Debra Messing stars as Grace Adler, a straight interior designer who moves into an apartment with her best friend Will (Eric McCormack). Friends since college, Will is a successful lawyer who also happens to be gay (preventing their relationship from becoming a permanent romance). Having dated before Will came out of the closet, the two enjoy a more intimate relationship than just casual friends. The comedic sequences involving the two are rounded out by Will’s flamboyant gay friend Jack McFarland (Sean Hayes) and Grace’s sarcastic, alcoholic assistant Karen Walker (Megan Mullally)…
