Although Sony has advertised the batteries to last up to 6 hours, so far I’ve gotten a maximum of 3 hours out of them, which really isn’t too bad for a small unit. Video playback was good and glare in bright lights wasn’t too bad either, thanks to the screen’s matte surface. The Sony DVP-FX930 is overall a very good portable DVD player. It will make a great travel companion on long trips and vacations.
